PSL got postponed as many players were tested positive for Coronavirus.
PSL authorities decided to put the twenty-twenty competition on a hold after symptoms of Coronavirus appeared in some of the players. PCB official said, "The decision was made after seven cases were reported in the competition, and PCB will focus on the safe and secure passage of all participants, and arrange repeat PCR tests, vaccines and isolation facilities to the six participating sides".
The players who were tested positive for Corona, included Australian spinner Fawad Ahmed, England´s Tom Banton, and Mohammad Faizan, both were representing Lahore Qalandar. Australian all-rounder Daniel Christian withdrew from the competition over fears of catching the virus a few out from Pakistan on Thursday.
PSL authorities claimed that it is a tough time for Pakistani cricket, however, they will try to create a window in which the remaining matches of PSL will be played.
