iPhone vs Samsung has been the debate of ages. Both companies are great rivals when it comes to yearly releases and smartphone features. They've both been in the industry for about a decade, and there's very little that one smartphone can that the other can't. There's no shadow of a doubt when it comes to saying that Samsung and iPhone are the real titans of the mobile world. But the question is, what is the better brand to go for?
According to the statistics, in Q4 2019, Apple shipped 69.5 million versus Samsung's 70.4 million in total smartphone units. In Q4 2020, Apple did 79.9 million vs Samsung's 62.1 million. Fast forward to a year, in 2021 Q1, Samsung snatched back the crown from Apple as the world's biggest smartphone producer, accounting for a fifth of overall global sales in the first quarter. Samsung shipped 76.5 million smartphones in the quarter to grab a 22% share of the market. This makes the Samsung industry top mobile company for the first quarter of 2021, which is quite surprising, given Apple winning the race in the previous two years.
